The price includes the installation of a new 3.5-ton Carrier Heat Pump Comfort Series, 14.5-SEER2, Single-Stage, with Air Handler as follows:
Install new indoor air handler as follows
• Remove and dispose of the existing indoor air handler
• Install a new indoor 14.5-Seer2 single-speed heat pump air handler
• Install a new drain pan if needed
• Blow out the existing drain line and reconnect
• Ensure the new system is level and secure
• Transition the supply side and return air side plenums to the air handler
• Apply an airtight seal to the plenums and air handler
• Install new safety switches
• Install a new basic thermostat
Install new outdoor condenser as follows:
• Remove and dispose of the existing outdoor AC unit
• Install a new single-speed electric 14.5-Seer2 27sca542a003 outdoor heat pump
• Replace the existing condenser pad if needed
• Replace the existing electrical disconnect if needed
• Acid-flushed the existing line set to remove contaminants and reconnect
• Install a new drier filter to protect against potential future contaminants
• Install locking caps on the freon valves to eliminate tampering
• Commission the system and calibrate to the manufacturer’s specs

• Run heat load calculations pre-install to verify proper sizing
• Register the new equipment in the owner’s name to protect the factory parts warranty
• Perform city permitting and city inspection if required
• Start rebate paperwork for the homeowner to finalize and turn into the utility company
