Install new 3-Ton Payne/Goodman Series, 14.3-SEER2, Electric AC & Heating System as follows:
Install new indoor air handler as follows
• Remove and dispose of the existing indoor air handler
• Install a new indoor 14.3-Seer2 air handler with electric heating and cooling
• Blow out the existing drain line and reconnect
• Ensure the new system is level and secure
• Transition the supply side and return air side plenums to the air handler
• Apply an airtight seal to the plenums and air handler
• Install new safety switch
• Install a new basic thermostat
Install new outdoor condenser as follows:
• Remove and dispose of the existing outdoor AC unit
• Install a new single-stage 14.3-Seer2 outdoor heat pump AC unit
• Acid-flushed the existing line set to remove contaminants and reconnect
• Install a new drier filter to protect against potential future contaminants
• Install locking caps on the freon valves to eliminate tampering
• Commission the system and calibrate to the manufacturer’s specs
